Wednesday, November 26th, was Grandparents’ Day, a day in which ILA students invite their grandparents, or other family members or friends, to celebrate with the ILA community.
This year, under the able tutelage of Mme. Abby and M. Marc, each child in the school, from the toddlers on up, had the opportunity to perform in a music and dance program which featured French folk songs. West African drums, and lively dance numbers from Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite.”
After the show, performers and spectators moved into the gymnasium to enjoy a splendid brunch arranged by parent volunteers.
Many thanks to everyone– guests, students, parents, staff, and volunteers–whose warmth, creativity, and work contributed to success of this special annual ILA celebration.
