ILA needs and relies upon the support of volunteers and donors in order to grow in the competitive scholar environment surrounding ILA.
The following facts explain why schools such as ILA in the United States require additional funding:
1.) Tuition alone does not assure ILA’s growth. Non-profit, independent schools (such as ILA) in the United States are not subsidized by the government. ILA is not subsidized directly by the French Government.
2.) In addition to asking members of the ILA community for monetary support, we seek funds from external sources including individual donors, companies and foundations. Before considering a gift to ILA, they want to see that the parents, faculty, and staff are fully invested in the school. This is measured via our Wine event and annual ” Bal Masque”.
3.) The entire ILA community (parents, faculty, staff,) is asked to give, at whichever level is most comfortable.
Thanks to the generous support of the many families and friends of ILA, we are well positioned to meet the challenges as well as take advantage of the opportunities. Your continued support, as volunteers and donors, will be crucial to our future success.
In the following pages, you will find information on volunteering and making donations and community events.
We welcome your interest, your questions, your comments, and your help. Thank you for your generosity, for supporting this unique, excellent place.
