Fundraising and Support Needed For ILA
As a Non-profit institution, ILA funds its activities based on both tuition from parents as well as funds raised from events and outside sources. To provide the highest quality education, the school needs support from the community, as do most other schools such as ours.
The following facts explain why schools such as ILA in the United States require additional funding:
1.) ILA needs your support as volunteers and donors in order to grow in the competitive scholar environment surrounding ILA.
2.) Tuition alone does not assure ILA’s growth. Non-profit, independent schools (such as ILA) in the United States are not subsidized by the government. ILA is also not subsidized directly by the French Government.
3.) In addition to asking members of the ILA community for monetary support, we seek funds from external sources including individual donors, companies and foundations. Before considering a gift to ILA, they want to see that the parents, faculty, and staff are fully invested in the school. This year, this can be measured by the success of our fundraising events such as the Wine event and the Annual Gala Auction.
4.) The entire ILA community (parents, faculty, staff,) are asked to give, at whichever level is most comfortable.
Thanks to the generous support of the many families and friends of ILA, we are well positioned to meet the challenges as well as take advantage of the opportunities. Your continued support, as volunteers and donors, will be crucial to our future success.
In the following pages, you will find information on volunteering and making donations and community events.
