Pierre Burthey, the ILA  PE teacher, was born in Marseille and has taught in France and Germany before relocating to Oregon in 2006.

A graduate of the University of Franche-Comté and the IUFM in Besançon, Pierre enjoys volleyball, skiing, and classical music, and is committed to fostering physical development in his students.
